Design job for Rainbooru. As the system is being tested and being built, kept in the mind of the upcoming UI. I’m gonna focus on it next week and test some stuff before throwing it all on prod.
The idea was «COMING SOON INSIDE» or something like that, but that made no sense, I kept with «You’ll love to come inside! » as a motto, and just, «Come inside.»

And then there’s Manebooru, which is a more suitable alternative for those who want nicer things.
But by the last time I used it (two days ago?), I was unable to upload my pictures.
It’s good to have alternatives, since images that are deleted here are uploaded on most of those boorus.
Think of them as archives, something like what BitChute is to YouTube.
Rainbooru: a total disaster your page is just a mess full of errors and shit
Ponerpics: mostly pols enough said also not very active
Twibooru: i don’t know what was the goal for this it’s a booru or it’s an archive page because no comments and no forums it makes like this booru is super deaf
Ponybooru: Ponybooru might be the closest one to compete Derpibooru but as i say in my comment sadly Ponybooru is not as big and active than here
We need one that is stable and that’s gonna change the rules, ever.

Yep, we cannot have an archival if the staff is mentally unstable and decide to act on their personal views alone.

the best archive is on your hard disk. Thanks for using a computer with storage, but the more there are the less it is possible for something to disappear, that’s the idea of the internet. Anyone with some webspace or FTP should open a booru or something.

Minimal requirements are a Pentium MMX, 32Mb RAM, and a 1024x768 display in full color.
Recommended requirements are at least a K6/2 pr Pentium II, 64Mb RAM and a 1600x1000 display.
Your terminal does not matches the required configuration, I recommend you to acquire anything that meets the specifications.

An aggregator where you can link your accounts at all the other boorus and then gives you a unified watch list and gives you the option of which comment section you want to use on each image.
I agree. It is one aspect that makes it better than Derpibooru.
So I’m waiting for the leftists to start their own pony booru, as their alternative to rightist-aligned Derpibooru.
Then they can stop being bothered about this site and let it burn. I look forward to see a contest between the two to see who will conquer the other.

So far all these alt booru’s suck and have done nothing.
And all of them allow lolicon, if I’m not mistaken. Yeah, not going to any of them…

I have a solution for that, remove the accounts of users who complain about things they search and see but never wanted to see.
Without an account, the user will no longer be able to see the content they don’t want to see.
If they are still offended, banning the IP of the user is simple. I’m doing this for their well being.

Yeah, but folks are too lazy to put in the effort to block content they don’t like. Instead they’d rather invest the time and effort to complain to the site operators and insist on them blocking said content on their behalf.

It’s not really errors, it’s in development, the essential is the internals and security, me I’m just working on the visual part that will be the last thing to be implemented. As for the content you don’t like, no one forces you to see it.
The only banned content are non-pony related content, and anything that’s illegal on the United States of America. This includes zoophilia.

Rainbooru has technical errors and questionable content that would have been blotted from this website weeks ago.
