@rautamiekka
You need to understand what will be their feature. What details will distinguish them from ordinary eyes.
Or do you suggest doing this as animation?
I’m guessing that a modification of these eyes where the lines that separate the blades (for lack of better wording) that make it evident they’re mechanical, aren’t there, or look like blood vessels. That would be 1, hopefully with some diff from these.
Would also need to hide those electrical tracks you see in her whites, at least until switching.
An anim would be even better, but one will 1st have designed the deceptively normal looks.

Hmm, speaking of mechanical eyes … I wonder if you’ll be able to design eyes (specifically RD’s eyes, but other pony’s is also good) which look deceptively like real eyes (not like in the original piece), but could change their appearance which makes it obvious they’re by no means natural.
Might be ‘change their appearance’ is the wrong wording … I mean they’re mechanical, or even magical (take the Sharingan in ‘Naruto’ series for example, they’re all natural, but their world has a magic-like energy called chakra), but look deceptively like normal (it’d be next to impossible to detect just by looking, without a microscope or something), and when their powers are needed the owner can switch the mode at will, and when they do it becomes obvious the individual’s either a full-blown robot, eye-augmented, or from another world in the case of magical eyes.
I wouldn’t mind dropping some money your way :D Can’t speak for others, but maybe others will chip in, too.
“Well, Rainbot Dash, I see the eyes have been upgraded. But, where’s the rest of you?”
As it turns out, the body’s just waiting outside for the doctor who operated on Dashbot’s head to get back to the workbench, take the head back out and reattach it.
Yeah I had such a hunch.
@Background Pony #B287
Agree. Surely there’re some already, but the more good ones there’re the better.
This is making me really want a Cyberpunk/MLP crossover.
I can speed it up to 60fps, but I don’t have the tools to create many intermediate frames. I have only 24 frames in stock.
Pretty much as I pictured it, great work dude :D The anim is good, it’ll be hard to create that in 60fps+.
Edited because: Added more text.
I’m not very good at animation, but I suggest you evaluate this

Make more things like this and I’ll be dammed.
What a shame.

By the way, Dash, stay out of the stallion’s restroom. That kind of activity embarrasses the agency more than it does you.
Eh, slight’s not all that much :D
Yes, there were slight doubts.
You had doubts ? :P
Glad you like it.
