its Tempest and Ditzy Doo!!!

When Tempest was redeemed, she was offered a position on the royal guard in the Crystal Empire by Cadence. At first, Tempest was highly hesitant in taking the position. After all, she wasnt exactly well-liked at the moment. It took a few days and a lot of talking with Twilight for Tempest to finally accept the offer. It was nerve wracking even for a tough veteran as herself. She never did well with other ponies but Cadence was patient with her and assured Tempest that she was where she was meant to be. For a while, Tempest worked alongside Shining Armor to learn basic drills and get acquainted with the Crystal Empire. Twilight visited her a lot as well which helped Tempest adjust to making friends and being around other ponies. It was one of the days Tempest was relaxing at home that she heard a heavy thud against her door. When she went to investigate, she saw a petite gray pegasus, crash landed on her back with letters scattered around her. “Hello!” the pegasus chimed as though she was unfazed by the obvious collision that had just occurred. Tempest was completely bewildered by the strange mare but as she began to speak, Tempest couldnt help but find her adorable. She learned that her name was Ditzy Doo and she was a mail pegasus. It was after that day that Tempest eagerly awaited every mail delivery.
She quickly became acquainted with Ditzy and theyd often write letters and even set up little meetings. Tempest quickly realized she was falling in love with the mare and consulted Cadence. She was completely flustered and afraid that Ditzy would reject her, but Cadence calmed her fears and told Tempest to just ask. So one day while on guard, Tempest met Ditzy at the post office and gifted her a sunflower and asked Ditzy if she might want to date. Ditzy was shocked but happily said yes! And from then on, they were together.

When Ditzy was born, she had a curse cast onto her by an enraged unicorn bat-pony that her parents had stolen a precious heirloom from. The heirloom once belonged to Princess Luna and was a piece of her crown that used to transform normal ponies into bat-ponies. Her father had stolen it to sell and make money for his struggling family. The curse that the mare cast onto them was that of pure bad-luck. Ditzys mother died giving birth to her and her father died when she was very young. It also caused Ditzys track of bad-luck and extreme clumsiness.
When Ditzy got pregnant, she had so many fears about the child she was carrying. First, Ditzy was ill throughout her entire pregnancy, extremely weak and barely moved about. Tempest was terrified that Ditzy would meet the same fate of dying during child birth. But as her pregnancy proceeded as normal, Ditzy grew less warry and had high hopes.
The day finally came and little Stardust was born, but it was quite a shock to Tempest and Ditzy. Stardust was a unicorn bat-pony. Ditzy suspects that when her mother interacted with the heirloom, it must have caused an unexpected curse onto her unborn foal, to give birth to bat pony. Tempest immediately began to research about it and even requested to speak to Princess Luna about her crown, but she still is awaiting a response. Nevertheless, Ditzy and Tempest were in love with their foal. He was quite weak when he was born, likely from Ditzy being ill herself during pregnancy. Stardust did end up having a leg amputated due to being so ill, but he was still perfect to both of his mothers. Tempest took a lot of time off to be with Stardust and loved just watching the small foal.
Eclipse started living with Tempest and Ditzy only a few days after Stardust was born. It was a lot of added stress, but Tempest didnt want to turn away the young pony. Eclipse adored Stardust and spent a lot of time with the foal. Theyre extremely close and is considered the only pony Eclipse makes time to see.
