I just hope they don’t kill her off with less kindness to her character in Season 4 as a part of Hasbro treating her like shit after the Season 2 hearts and Hooves shitstorm that I think nobody cares anymore. That would be bad.
 
I don’t want her to be another antagonist. I want her to be loved by her friends and everypony. I want Fluttershy to be more kind to everypony who is not evil, as well as her best friends and be assertive to her own enemies when it had gone too far, and caring about her animals and her friends and sometimes never a coward.
 
I want a Season 4 Fluttershy episode where Fluttershy is forgiving everypony for doing bad things she usually has done in the past (Reforming Discord, making a possible betrayal to her Friends because they hate Discord) and joins her Friends’ side to defeat Discord after Discord gets unreformed.

the OP was talking about the Hypothetical Characteristics of Fluttershy, and that the writer’s should developed more about her inner self instead of just making her a stereotypical shy person.

I disagree, if only because I used to be just as shy as Fluttershy.
 
Learning to “project your presence”, as you put it, is one of the most important things for someone very shy to learn, not because they need to be not-shy, but because not making your voice heard is detrimental. In a good case, it can simply mean that it takes a while before someone else puts the spotlight on you, and then you have to say something. In a bad case, it can be like Magic Duel, where everyone rudely interrupted her and she never got a word in for herself.
 
I do think that she needs to have more episodes focused on things that aren’t related to her shyness (something like Bird in the Hoof, where it goes into her animal work, would be nice), but it’s an understandable thing to write around.

also she has poor character development, and a lot of her episodes about her are about her trying to learn how to project her presence.
