@Ring Team
“I want…” Ok. And? Why does that mean the show runners are obligated to care about specifically that? Can’t please everyone, and focusing on trying to results in pleasing no one.
Of course I see one clear difference, her hair color is not even close to starlight or sunburst, it’s like scootaloo’s, as some pointed out that Sunny’s a probable descendant of that CMC member.
About the Starlight argument, the same thing can be said about Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow.
Mmhmm, but Sunny doesn’t have markings and even a name similar to Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow like she does with Sunburst/Starlight, being that her name’s Sunny Starscout and her markings and even color scheme are similar to Sunburst’s and Starlight’s put together.
It’s a crack theory I’m willing to admit, but the signs ARE all there, and the show IS being written by people who would absolutely do something like that especially having laid down hints. Lineage goes a long way in popular fiction, just look at Star Wars.
@Lil Miss Jay
I know it’s gonna be a sequel to G4, and a friend told me the Mane 6 is gonna be like the figures of an ancient Equestria or something, which is a neat concept. But I think the G5 should be good because of the new characters, new personalities, new music, new worlds, new conflicts and new antagonists, not because of a list of references from G4.
When I say “not everything has to be connected”, I wasn’t talking necessarily about ponies having sex or something. I was talking about having the chance to give to the audience new characters.
About the Starlight argument, the same thing can be said about Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow.
Not everything needs to be connected. Not everyone has to be the son or daughter of someone,
First, allow me to say, yes, everyone does have to be the son or daughter of someone, that’s how reproduction works.
Second, wouldn’t her being a descendant of Starlight Glimmer make perfect sense? Her dad tells her about how the world used to be full of friendship and magic and tells her about the Mane Six, etc. Wouldn’t that be exactly what someone like Starlight Glimmer, who was someone who hated friendship and hated magic and hated uniqueness and even fell so far as to attempt to destroy Equestria but was reformed, would teach her children and hopefully keep the idea alive in future generations that friendship is magic™?
Third! Everything already is connected, dude. Sunny has figurines of the Mane Six and there’s pretty strong hints she even reads the Friendship Journal which initiates her quest in the first place. Hate to break it to you, but the connection is already established.
@H.L. Xkcess
It doesn’t matter to me anyway, because at least The last problem is a very good episode, and at least there are many people who didn’t like Starlight because of her actions. It’s one of those situations where I’m not alone in this.
About Luster Dawn, I find that question (whether she is related or not to Starlight and Sunburst) kinda meaningless, because that’s not the point of the episode.
That doesn’t mean the Starlight fans are wrong. She’s just a character, but creating a character that divided a fandom is doing a disservice to the community. When you create a story, the least thing you wanna do is to split your fans because of some creative decisions.
That said, I’m gonna take this image for what it is: A conspiracy image based on a detail that’s just a coincidence.
@Ring Team
I say Luster Dawn is the daughter of Sunburst and Starlight Glimmer and appears and a main character in the G5 show just to spite YOU specifically.
The very exact last thing the G5 needs is a descendant from Starlight Glimmer.
I want new characters, new conflicts and new worlds. Not everything needs to be connected. Not everyone has to be the son or daughter of someone, especially a very divisive problematic character.
@Shimmering Spectacle
That’s… cool? I don’t mean to sound rude but what does your OC have to do with anything? We’re not talking about OCs in this thread.
@Lil Miss Jay
on an unrelated note, my main oc might have sock markings, yet it doesn’t mean that she’s part sunburst there, it’s just mutations she has, simply saying.
stop trying to get this pathetic comphet ship off the ground it’s fucking dogshit and noone with a functional brain likes it
How many pony designs have those sock things? Its a completely valid theory. But that’s just what it is, a theory and there’s no claims to be otherwise. This place never got any wiser.
Zipp’s hair is only two toned, unlike rainbow dash’s which is six toned there.

Except for RD there, cause I’m not exactly sure if Zipp is even a descendant of her.

Luster Dawn’s descendant! I’m with you Jay!
Alrighty
i’m only making it clear in case someone finds out.

Keyword: “OC”

No
yeah!
Doesn’t that mean that her looking like Sunburst and Starlight is deliberate and not by chance?
Doesn’t that support my conspiracy?
