Description

I have began doing vent art alongside from my vent writing. That said, my pixel art sucks but I’m still learning. I don’t intend to advance of pixel art as I have found my calling when I was writing or typing down words to make up a story. I’m also sorry if you see this in your recommended. All these wonderful artists that put there heart and soul to create a picture and then there’s just me.

Once there was a stallion, roaming the endless halls that consumes his dreams. Every night he would wake up to the same metallic sounds of the hallways. Seemingly never-ending. A lantern would be always on him. Shining a brilliant light to stow away the darkness. It was well lit and yet it never ran out.

He suffered for years until one day, he met somepony else. A voice that called out in the darkness. Relieved to hear that somepony was there with him, he galloped to the source of the sound. He found a mare who was equally pleased to meet him. Her lantern, was busted but still held light. The two enjoyed a nice chat before exploring the endless hallways.

The next dream, he found his lantern missing. In its place, the busted lantern lit ever so dimly in the dark. The mare, nowhere to be found. His naïve brain thought that she merely misplaced her lantern and began searching for her. It was until the third night afterwards that he knew he was tricked.

Many years pass once more and he met another pony. This time a stallion. The stranger came up to him and initially, there were some misunderstandings and a small fight. However, the stranger didn’t care. He was simply happy to meet somepony in here. The next night, they both bid farewell and good luck to each other. Because of this, the stallion was relieved to find somepony as kind as him.

Then he met another mare in a very similar state the last one he met had. Her lantern was broken, only emitting a very dim light. Because of this, he was very suspicious of her but in the end, they both would chat and settle their differences. For eight months, they would always stick together not letting go.

It was then, a fight broke out between the two. It appeared that the stallion had been caught lying and she wasn’t happy about that. Many fights would come and they would both apologize but this fight was never resolved. When the time to wake up was nearing, the mare slept at the dreaming world. Ready to awaken for tomorrow’s night. The stallion, knowing that being with her anymore would only cause pain for both of them, took action.

He replaced her broken lantern with his dimly lit one and took off in one direction. He didn’t care where just somewhere that was not near her. So he could not hurt her again. The lantern only shone a couple of hooves in front of him but this did not stop him. It was only when he hit a wall did he stop. Sliding down the wall, he silently sobbed until he was taken away from the dreaming world.

The next night, he roamed the hallways. Blind, dumb, and afraid.

Oh and if you didn’t notice, I’m the stallion here. I’m sorry, Dev. Even if the chances are that you won’t be able to see this. I’m so sorry.
