History: He was raised as prince, but dreamed of bigger adventures. He grew up being pampered and taught that appreciating beauty and regality was the best way to live according to his mother, Rarity. One day he had finally been so bored and fed up with his studies to be the perfect prince put on him to be by his mother that he decided to just go exploring and to get some fresh air.
 
He wasn’t really paying attention to where he was going and found himself in the middle of a large forest. He never felt more at peace than he did at the moment as he looked around at all the trees, planets and creature that seemed to thrive without any rules and restrictions. From that day on, whenever he could he would venture out into the woods to spend his studying in the peace of nature.
 
One day, he stumbled upon a hurt bear cub and was in the middle of trying to help it when all of a sudden, the mom of the cub attacked him, injuring his back leg in the processes. He quickly raced out of there covered in dirt and leaves, limping. He sneaked back into his home, hopeful to not attract the attention of his mother and bandage up his hurt leg.
 
After that it took him awhile to get the courage to back into the forest. He was also avoiding his mother’s questions of why he had bandage on his leg, which he “skillfully” fibbed about it being a fashion trend, which Rarity took with a grain of salt, but just went with it.
 
It had been a couple years before he found the courage to return to the forest where he was attacked, but when he did he once again found it to be the most glorious place. And from there on, he learned to approach the hurt creatures cautiously as to not spook them. It was when he had taken in a tiger cub who had been caught in a trap and nursed it back to health that he earned his cutie mark.
 
Nowadays he spends his time helping out Dr. Fauna and nursing creatures back to health as well as practically keeping a zoo in his room hidden away from his parents, especially Rarity who he knows would disapprove of his behavior but his other parents fully support and respect his choices to make his own decisions and have his own life that he chooses, especially Twilight who he see as more of a mom to him than Rarity is.
 
His other mom, Fluttershy, encourages him to just be himself no matter what anyone says which he greatly appreciates.  
He idolizes Rainbow Dash, and thinks that she is so cool because of his love of sports, especially the Wonderbolts. He is proud of the fact that he lives with such a cool pony in his life.
