If Fluttershy were born in that era, she would be considered a traitor and disgrace to pegasi for rather being frolocking with animals like a filthy mud pony than fly with fellow companions like a true pegasus.
 
I wonder if Pegasus history books might cover up her animal loving nature and transform into more of a traditional pegasus heroine.
