Description
A new day dawns upon the oceanside town of Amblerta. The sun shines warmly as a wild sea of golden fog washes ashore. You wake up after a good night’s sleep, snugly wrapped in Moonflower’s hooves.
Moonflower: “Mmh… mornin’, Blazer!”
You greet your young bat pony friend with the usual displays of affection, which are ever happily reciprocated. Then, after sitting up to yawn and stretch your drowsiness away, you slide out of bed, and hop in the shower together.
Once your coats and manes dried and brushed, you shuffle downstairs to the dining room, guided by the delicious aroma of Marine Wave’s cooking.
Aqua Skies: “Good morning, you two! You made it just in time.”
Marine Wave: “Take a seat, breakfast is almost served.”
You join the pegasus at the table, and begin to chat. Before long, an appetizing plate is placed in front of you; fried eggs on a crispy hay bed, with a side of mixed berries and buttered toast, and a glass of banana-flavoured milk. The simple yet elegant dish makes for an energizing meal. You feel stuffed. Phew!
Aqua Skies: “… And you said you were headed back home today?”
You nod, and add that you were thinking about riding a train to Canterlot from Coltswell.
Marine Wave: “Yes, that’s what Sea Swirl and her friends usually do. Ah, it’s going to feel nice, sleeping in your own bed after such a long trip, don’t you think?”
Moonflower: “I dunno! I kinda prefer Blazer’s bed.”
You all have a good chuckle at that.
Aqua Skies: “Well, it’s quite the train ride, so don’t let us keep you. If I’m not mistaken, the train only passes through Coltswell at noon and midnight.”
Marine Wave: “Come visit us again whenever you’re in the area. Oh, and if you see my cousin in Canterlot, tell her I said hi!”
You nod, and thank the pair again for the accommodation, and the delicious food. After bidding them farewell, you and Moonflower exit the house.
Before venturing out to Greenhoof Grove, however, you consider that this might be your last chance to take advantage of the Trading Post’s End of Summer sale. If there is anything you are missing, now would be the time to buy it.
• The road north leads to the barbershop, the bathhouse, the chemist, the enchanter, the farrier, and the north district, which includes the marketplace, the observatory, the tavern, the Trading Post headquarters, and the port area.
