CONTEXT:  
After the events of “Made In Manehatten”, Clever Clovers decided to take in Suri Polomare and help her get back on her feet. He made some dress designs for Suri which Clever made himself out of pity for the poor mare. However, Rarity had informed Clever that she was marketing the designs AS HER OWN CREATIONS, when Clever was the one who did all the hard work. However, by the time the two had tracked down Suri as she was selling her designs to a massive company, it was too late. She had already signed the contract, and Clovers’ designs were now the official property of Suri Polomare.
 
Now, Clovers has a deep-seated hatred for the mare, and is livid for giving Suri his tender and loving care only to be backstabbed in the end.
