Growing up Sunny and sprout where already friends soo aside from Sprout of course missing his momma, they got along like a house on fire!
And with Sprout now also hearing so many stories about the other pony races hecame to be quite the fan, happily roleplaying as pegasi and unicorns with Sunny (and hitch occasionally)
Where Sunny slightly favors Pegasi, Sprout slightly favors Unicorns ;9

Sprouts favorite ! Sprout always adooored Rarity, a strong and fabulous yet still kind and generous mare ? Wonderful.
Where Sunny stans the pegasi and ofc princess of the main cast (Fluttershy,Dash and Twi) Sprout happily stans the earth pony rep ! And his favorite seamstress (Aj,Pinkie,Rarity)
Tho honestly he probably still headcanons Rares with sharp teeth and a ferocious side, because that movie scene leaned into kink territory hello ??

Metting Izzy for the first time was absolutely buck wild ! Both Sunny and Sprout are sooo excited by the idea of magic and they bounce off each other like ping pong just getting more and more excited as time goes. (Izzys question list scene would be exponentially more chaotic in this AU, with both of them tossing back and forth and bouncing all over the room while at it.
