I guess 3 of the main reasons are:
**First** we still know so little about her or anything really going on.
**Second** we allways get little snippids of lore enough to keep us on edgeandjust for her to disapear again andbut once we allmost forget and dont expact it shes coming back, allways.
**Third** Loona is an interesting character by herself, on one hand shes always one step ahead taunting us in our lack of knowing whats going on, on the other hand she seems to be suffering either from wounds inflected by either the astronauts, the spector that looks like celestia or herself in her delusion from this odd parasite inside her, but since shes an alicorn her body techincally could be in an constand limbo of being wounded and healing itself,
In a way shes like prometheus, she wanted to bring night and was struck down and bannised to the moon, driven insane and must now indure this punishment, time dosnt matter she does not age, she can not die, all she can do it wait, plot and see.
