Like Little Ribbon said, it’s an error in back-translating from the Japanese transliteration to English. Her name is rendered in Japanese as レインボーダッシュ, and the character ダ can be used to represent the sounds “da” (short a), “dah”, or “duh” in English. The artist picked one possibility and guessed wrong.
