There are actually a lot of good opportunities for Sonic crossovers, it’s a shame everyone hates Sonic because of shitty crossover shipping pics.
 
Here, I’ll prove how easy it is to do a good Sonic crossover right now:
 
Rainbow races Sonic and loses. Driven mad with jealousy and spite, she flies away, and runs into Eggman.
 
Eggman lies to Rainbow and tells her that Sonic is the bad guy, and Rainbow, blinded by envy, believes him. Eggman offers to help make Rainbow good enough to beat Sonic, and Rainbow accepts, unaware that Eggman plans to turn her into a robot.
