In all honesty, I like Lyra’s infatuation with humans. As long as she isn’t obsessed to the point of fanaticism, and it stays just a huge interest, I think it works.

I requested this because I find human obsessed Lyra funny. If you don’t like the joke, that’s fine, everyone has different tastes, but don’t be a jerk about it.
 
That said, I’m glad the people who enjoy it outweigh the people who rub in that they don’t like something. Makes me glad I sent a note to the artist to request this. =3

I find it funny, I shall fave it and note that 56 up votes and 5 down votes. So only 5 people did not like this image, does that indicate about 5 people did not find the “Lyra wants to go to the human world” joke funny?

As overdone as human-obsessed Lyra is, it’s still possible to do funny things with it. The drawing’s amusing, and Nightshade142’s earlier comment doubly so.
 
It’d be nice if we saw more art about “overly-excitable Lyra”, though.
