While this makes it seem as if Twilicorn was planned from the beginning, it most certainly was not. The first steps of creating a new episode start about 1.5 years in advance, meaning that the Season 1 premiere was started in early 2009. Thus, this proves absolutely nothing.

We already have this. And Larson said the episode was first penned down around December 2011, so it makes sense the puppet was made in advance.

Someone on /mlp/ leaked more DHX flash puppets, one of them being Alicorn Twilight. He looked up the properties of it, saw this.
 
Probably ruse. Still, an elaborate ruse at that.
