Alright, so this is a piece of Fanart I did for the fanfiction ‘A Precious Rainbow’ by milesprower06.

It’s another ‘Alternate Ending’ to sergeant sprinkles infamous Cupcakes. Unlike the other alternate endings, this one really got to me. In this one, Applejack rushes in and saves Rainbow Dash’s life from pinkie pie right before pinkie can ‘finish’ dash. AJ mistakenly kills pinkie in the process. She gets RD to emergency care just in time to save her life, but they were unable to attach her wings.
This fan fic is about Rainbow dash trying to live with not only the mental horrors of being brutally tortured someone she thought she could trust, but she must also cope with the fact that she will never fly again.
This picture shows rainbow dash wallowing in her sorrow in her wonderbolt hoodie Rarity made for her. It begins to sink in that, because of her once close friend, she can no longer do the one thing in life that made her unique and truly happy.
Not going to lie, shed a few manly tears reading this :(

Hey, this ain’t Rocket to Insanity…
Such a classic, A Precious Rainbow was one of the first MLP fanfics I ever read. The idea of an AU where Rainbow Dash survives the events of Cupcakes was intriguing.
She knows full well eternity will be horrific for Pinkie, and couldn’t care less.
