Silver Spoon: If i jump high enough i can make it to the moon and release the prophet nightmare moon so she can cover the world in eternal darkness for 1000 years!
Diamond Tiara: I hope you are as drunk as i am silver spoon.
The next day silver spoon bounced to the moon kicking off the events of the series pilot. Just a random head canon.
@Lawful Girly
That’s boring, though. Besides, it’s not like the show’s characterizations really have any connection at all to the names. For instance, Shining Armor’s name refers to the classic archetype of the “knight in shining armor”, who is extremely chivalrous before all else and always saves the day, but he instead projects the image of a surfer dude with his speech and mannerisms, in both of his appearances so far he’s been more of the damsel in distress than his wife, and his armor, when he does wear it, isn’t even shiny.
@Turnways_Flip
Well, “Silver Spoon” comes from the expression “Born with a silver spoon in one’s mouth,” which means to be born into extreme wealth and privilege. So one can infer she’s almost if not just as rich. (I just assume she’s a slightly beta personality/has a crush on Diamond Tiara.)
My headcanon is that while Diamond Tiara’s family is rich, Silver Spoon’s father is just moderately famous - television personality Rode Sterling. As such, Spoon is clearly elevated above the rest of Ponyville, but still isn’t on Tiara’s level of elitism and is basically subservient to her.

Indeed, we already have a “Diamondbetes” tag.
Even if they’re both brats/biotches, they were kinda cute in this ep’.
She appreciates cuteness. And she’s clearly an apprecianato of all things Silver Spoon ;P
Also I think this episode probably showed how Diamond Tiara became friends with Silver Spoon.
“Oh? You’re parents are important? We should hang out! You can use my stuff and ponies will look at you in awe because you are hanging out with me!”
I was thinking that myself.
