She is an imposter. Cadance was impersonated by Queen Chrysalis because she was just trying to prove that Cadance is evil. But her plan was backfired when Twilight and the real Cadance show up before Chrysalis could kiss on Shining Armor.

I was kinda freaked out by this scene, because, jhust for a second, I honestly thought Twilight was being incinerated. Then my brain caught up and I realised that that wouldn’t happen. It’s still kinda freaky.
