Shiranui was far more active, by contrast, but Amaterasu eventually got hir powers regained from when shi was Shiranui while fighting Yami, yeah.

(Everypony ought to know why I used Futanari pronouns. ^_^ )

Oddly enough, this is a meeting of two Sun Goddesses that are much more personable than they seem in legends.

It’s just that Celestia has a more active role where as Amaterasu as the wolf is more… well into the whole journeying hero thing.

I actually find this picture very intriguing. In some ways it’s very rough around the edges but at the same time Celestia’s “traditional” unicorn look combined with the long wing in juxtaposition to Ammie looks very good.

I don’t know who you are artist, but this is a work that I just keep looking at. It’s very engaging to me.
