Well, good for you.
In my opinion, Hasbro did a good deed by making her canon name include her fanon name (Twinkle/Twinkleshine), and what this series does is making Bronies who don’t know her (MANY bronies) confused.
And the theory of her refering to herself in the third person was absurd from scratch. She’s said “I” twice already, the first time being in the first episode (when she was talking about Moondancer, meaning she could not be refering to herself).
Pff. She doesn’t even look like G1 Moondancer that much. G1 Moondancer’s hair is red and purple. And Twinkleshine doesn’t have a moon in her cutie mark, that should count.
I don’t think that’s funny, I think that’s just copy-cattish of Trixie.
IMO, the artist could joke about the fact that she is attention-seeking without doing the third person speaking. Her toy description says that she dreams about being a famous movie star…
I hate the theory of “she is actually Moondancer, and she refers to herself in the third person”.
Frankly, it’s just the same as Trixie’s character. That’s lame.
Plus, Bronies always called her “Twinkle”.
Don’t you have some cheerios to piss in?

IIRC the theory came forth from there being a previous gen pony with the same color scheme and similar-ish cutie mark.
PLUS IT’S FUNNY.
