Boy am i glad this tumblr is dead. I mean ask blogs are dumb anyway, unless done VERY right, and the only one i would be comfortable saying that for is the pun pony and niggertron. But this is dumb on a new level, its like having a applejack christian blog, but she just kinda is a normal southerner, goes to church on Sundays, thanks god and Jesus often, and has never touched the bible, but knows like a few common verses.
It establishes nothing, there’s no humor, or social commentary, no conflict or resolution. It’s just out of character fluttershy, who happens to be a hijab wearing Muslim in some alternate universe. The simple question remains, But why?!
Fenwolf being a blatant dick over nothing and then Takashi focusing NOT on that, no, but breaking into a tirade over him being an “r/atheist” or whatever. Because the right way to respond to trolls is to stir religious debate, YEAH THAT’ll FIX THINGS.

Depending on which religion it is, alot more atrocities still (especially the abrhamic ones). Of course it would be as such since back then our times were different and we were pretty much warmongering with each other. There is no denying that there are many followers of religion who did good especially in the modern times but with thousands of years of people using religions’ influence to rally and subjugate the mass for various atrocities, it really overshadows the positives of religion and making it hard to see it as something good.
Takashi, even though I am an atheist I see that you are right. Religion by itself only establishes some rules that others try to follow… give “truths” for others to fear, take comfort in, or act upon. The “act upon” part is more often than not benign or favorable for other people. That it gets used for justification (or rather, excuses) for many atrocities is a sad tragedy for you. It’s unfair, too, because you hardly see anyone say “I did this because I am an atheist”. One can only speculate if an atheist is responsible for a crime. Our dirt is much easier to hide than yours… it doesn’t mean it isn’t there, most certainly. Ultimately, it really is about the person. That they say they did things because they were Christian or whatnot only means they either think it makes a difference or simply followed what they thought their faith demanded of them. That isn’t the fault of what they placed their faith in.
Heck, I still have a religion… “love and tolerance”. Look how many haters scoff at bronies because they don’t to adhere to it… the virtuous set the bar high for everyone else to fall from, lol!

He’s just upset. It’s understandable. This is obviously an issue he has deep feelings about. Sometimes when something is near to our hearts or important to us we might act out. It’s just part of what makes him who he is. I know there have been times when I’ve gone beyond the pale on issues I care about.
That being said, that was a rather harsh personal attack. Perhaps not the best way to handle things but again, we’re all human and we all sometimes get worked up.

If the news media would report the ignorant, generalizing, hateful, and just flat-out inaccurate things that Atheists like you say about religion and religious people on Facebook alone, you would get the same amount of scorn we do.
The amount of scorn you completely deserve because your head is so far up your ass if it goes up any farther you’ll risk collapsing into a black hole.
But since there’s no justice on this godawful rock, I’ll have to spell it out for you.
There are things out there that are far worse than religion that motivate people to do far worse things than you can possibly imagine.
And while Religion may have been the influence that led to many bad things, you’re as naive and ignorant as the Westboro Baptist Church if you seriously do not acknowledge that Religion has done many good things as well.
This right here is a perfect example of why I hate humanity folks; if given a choice of blaming an individual for their own douchebaggary and Idiotic actions or something stupid like the fact that they’re religious or their apart of a certain fandom (bronies especially) or the stuff they own like guns, nine times out of ten they go for the latter.
Stop blaming Religion for problems caused by people. It just makes you look retarded in the eyes of anyone who knows what the fuck they’re talking about instead of dipshits like you who get their hatred of religion from media that know absolutely nothing about religion or religious history like Family Guy and go out of their way to brainwashing you into hating it because they fear and don’t understand it. Next time you decide to run that stupid mouth of yours on Religion, stop, and go to your library or something actually do some goddamn research on the things that followers of religions have done. And above all, get it from a source that isn’t biased as hell, with actual fucking facts.
How sad is it that we live in a world where we have the internet, a network where you can get free information with a few keystrokes, and yet when it comes to shit like this, people don’t do any fucking research at all on the things they hate so much. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO RELIGION.
