While it’s a shame those scenes got cut, they’re still nothing compared to the Shadowbolt “training” montage that was excised from Friendship Games. They really whipped those girls into shape, if you know what I mean. ;)

and yes, Sunset does get spanked by the principal throughout Rainbow Rocks, but we never got to see it. apparently, Hasbro had all those scenes cut out as they deemed said scenes too hot for television (and the silver screen); they thought that giving Sunset her comeuppance was stupid, excessive, and unnecessarily erotic. I guess we’ll have to wait for the 40th Anniversary Special Edition to see the uncut version. >▽<
