I get that, but I don’t get why they don’t consider other logical possibilities EVER. Even when I flat out say that the satyr takes after her grandmother in the description that one guy assumed that Twilight Velvet was her mother.
I get colour coding, but at least that in that scenario they shouldn’t assume like that. I mean seriously.
Color coding to reduce confusion.
I don’t get why people usually don’t ever consider this either. This one guy didn’t even consider that in >>800859 even though I said they were sisters & one of them just took after her grandmother in the description.
Because humans have historically been the dry toast on which other fantasy races spread their genetics. Half-elves, half-orcs, dhampirs… Why would ponies be any different?
I know, I missed that too.
But it’s apparently to make clear which ponies they are the offspring of.
It’s why Cinnamon Cider is one of my favorite satyrs because she’s frequently drawn with colors other than just Applejack’s. Pony kids frequently look significantly different than their offspring, why wouldn’t satyrs?
Well I guess since everything’s valid…
Probably loves her, despite the weird relation.
Now you’ve given me the idea of an Anon that winds up in a much earlier Equestria, who meets Granny Smith and winds up fathering an entire branch of the apple family as satyrs and/or centaurs.
How does Darcy and the rest feel about their sister-aunt?
