This was too funny to not post. Rainbow Dash gets a cameo in a transformers movie.

Maybe it’s just because it’s 5 AM, but I don’t see it.
A textbook case of special effects failure. If you watch the scene, you can notice the doll’s movement aren’t even synched with the guy’s hands.
Dude i dont give a damn about winning an argument I’m just stating my dislike for Transformers Prime.
Geez dude
…Fine. But if he decides to take this as a win, tell him off, would you?
I’m not convinced the writers ever liked Starscream. At first he was Megatron’s personal (usual) foil and was played up to be some deadly foe.
Then, both shortly before and when he defected he got into more and more silly ‘situations that ruined his character’.
I miss when he was relevant but sadly all he is is comedy relief.
I don’t really like it. It’s just not screaming ‘Starscream’ to me.
I prefer the SS that’s unintentionally funny. (Like TFA Starscream)
Not this thing that looks like a chick and is somehow still alive when the more capable died its completely ridiculous even G Starscream was mor competent and capable then him.
Why not use that card? I’ve had it played on me enough times that I’m sure it’s tournament-legal.
Do you like most things Transformers? ‘Cause the impression I get is you like half or less.
And as for what the hell that post was, it was me banging my head against a wall because using yours for that purpose would be a terrible social faux pas. But for the record, using “transgender” like it’s an insult? I’m pretty sure that’s considered “not cool”.
And where is it written that every character on the show has to be “awesome badass” first and foremost? Did it maybe occur to you that Starscream’s purpose in the narrative was to be a schemer, and the ‘cons had plenty of others to fill the role of “walking siege weapon”? Hell, it’s got to the point where Megatron feels that the best use of Soundwave’s time is monitoring communications channels and data feeds, despite the fact that it took him about five seconds to take down Airachnid, and he tossed Wheeljack around like a rag doll, by the head. And characters in Transformers don’t always have to be combat monsters to be worthwhile; I seem to recall an old Transformers show with a very popular character who got his ass kicked all the time. Waspinator from Beast Wars, in case it wasn’t obvious.
OH you bringing up that card?
Well just because i like most things in transformers does not mean i have to like all of it.
seriously dude what the hell was that post?
And anyways Starscream is so girly and he even looks like a girl with hips and heals Smokescreen once called Starscream ‘the stiletto-heeled freak’ so even the show knows what a pathetic character he is.
Operative term there is “supposed to be”. The fact is, I’m pretty sure Hasbro had no real regard for continuity when they tried to make certain series “canon” or streamline their material. They’re scrambling to try and make “Transformers” something more than an eye-candied excuse to sell merchandise.
For all the flak he gets, Michael Bay at least does seem to understand that original attribute of the franchise. “It’s a lot of explosions and robots designed to look just cool enough that you’ll want their toys.”

For someone who claims to be a fan of Transformers, you sure do like to whine about how horrible it is.
And I’m not touching the “bumbling transgender idiot” remark with a ten-foot pole. Not sure what exactly you were trying to say, but pretty sure you shouldn’t have gone there.
But other Starscreams could at least are actually able to defend themselves and had baddass moment compared to Prime Starscream being a bumbling transgender idiot who is somehow still alive what makes it worse is that this guy is supposed to be the same guy as the Cybertron games Stasrcream who was baddass, smart and actually have the means to take over the decepticons.
I forgot about that for a minute.
Though the stuff Kircher and I were talking about could still have been helful for him.
Probably not, if only because in Decepticon society, you’re encouraged to be oppressive.
“He’s also probably good at shifting blame and making himself look more useful than he really is.”
My god…c-could Starscream be a SJW?
He’s also probably good at shifting blame and making himself look more useful than he really is. Plus, Soundwave was too valuable (and dangerous) for Megatron to use as a punching bag.
But yeah, Starscream’s probably pretty good at talking himself up. Case in point, the whole “I killed Cliffjumper” thing. He makes it sound like there was an actual fight involved, when the reality is Cliffjumper was captured by the Vehicons and Starscream threw a hissy fit at the mere mention of Megatron and shoved a hand through Cliffjumper’s chest.
Always got the impression Starscream got his place by being an expert ass-kisser (at least to everyone’s face).
Yes and it also had some weak characters (not all of them but a lot of them)
Starscream to me was the worst who was only there for a joke especially since they made him a wimpy incompetence joke like seriously how did he become second command and survive for that long?
Prime’s problem was that it had a lot of awesome individual moments (and by “moments” I mean “fights”), but everything connecting those moments was rather weak.
Because nobody who likes the movies goes to watch a Transformers movie for the deep plots which Transformers has never had outside of Beast Wars, Animated and the IDW comics.
Me and many others including the general audience go to see the movies to be entertained and be in another reality for 2 and a half hours.
We don’t care about if its different from other continuity of Transformers or not because we are entertained and judging on the fact they still make movies more people like the movies then hate them its just that the people who dislike them are louder
Wrong with Prime which was a dull and boring clustercrap and with the upcoming RID is worst.
Aprrently this Green ex Decepticon who sounds like a black guy
Is this same guy as this
And i mean the same guy as RID takes place in the same universe as The Cybertron games which screws up continuity.
Transformers kinda cheats by having a bunch of different continuities, whereas the Star Franchises tend to have one shared universe for everything. Though I suppose if you have too many cooks, it’s not a bad idea to keep them working on separate dishes, so to speak.
Every major franchise has shat all over itself continuity-wise; just be glad its not as bad as Star Trek or Star Wars. Too many cooks, etc.
