Kiosa: Kinda had this idea of Shining Armor having this “ultimate protection spell” that can be used only by someone who’s specialised in protection magic. But there’s a risk that after performing the spell, you’ll go in a trance and will sleep inside a crystalthingy forever. And also the shield you have created (that crystal is just protecting the spell caster, the shield is much bigger) cannot be destroyed by any known means. It’s immune to both magic and physhical force and in most of cases, it’s actually more dangerous to create that shield than to be attacked by whatever you are trying to protect ponys about. Since if the spell caster goes to comatose, haha, have a fun eternity inside that shieldthingy. So there would not be much sense of using it unless it was the only way. And if you screwed up big time, you’ll just end up sleeping inside a crystal. If the things go nicely, you can keep your conciousness and stop when someone tells you to stop casting the spell.
