@sigh @Background Pony #07BF as for you two, Zoro only does it under duress from Nami bringing up his debt, Sanji does it out of him being the hopeless romantic (emphasis on hopeless), and Luffy? he does it because she’s his friend and crewmate, and as we’ve seen, he’ll do anything to protect them. adding on to the fact that Genzo made him swear to never let Nami cry, but that’s just a bit of the shipper in me.
overall, Pairing wars in One Piece are pretty much done with skeleton crews. we’re not reading/watching to see who ends up with who, like we did with Naruto and Bleach, we do so to see the Modern Epic unfold before us so it can be told throughout time.

I could see that too I suppose, I guess it just depends on the situation. I can see Zoro Robin as being a battle couple, kicking butt and taking names then making out later, while I see Franky Robin as the “we retired and went to go start a family somewhere” ending.
I see more Franky and Robin. Feel like the two of them seem right together.
Zoro Robin, actually, I just can’t take any ships with Luffy seriously, he’s got the obliviousness of Ash Ketchum turned up to 11.
