you would first and foremost have to like animated musicals.
But I can’t fathom why anyone could dislike the very first special (shown here).
It has arguably the best of the early pony body shapes, consistently decent animation, and non-stop high-stakes adventure.
Even for the badass crowd, it’s still more ‘grimdark’ than anything G4 has dished out yet (though G4 is starting to get there).
MLP is metal. :3
Eh, I only really have heard of people really hating G3.5… Other than that, I haven’t really heard much about the other older generations.
Nothing is as bad as the haters make the past gens out to be. Nothing in this universe. Seriously, wading in sewage while leeches crawl up your underwear is… about 95% as bad as the haters make the past gens out to be, but not just quite.
I’ll lower my expectations accordingly…
