Honestly, it was a little so-so to me. Saw the conflict about five minutes into it with the introduction of Sassy Saddles (or whatever her name is). I did enjoy that Rarity did decide to keep the new boutique open with genuine Rarity coming to the rescue from becoming a McDonald’s. Why did it take almost the entire episode for Rarity to just stand up to Sassy and state it in straight to her face that it’s RARITY’s shop and not SASSY’s?! The whole thing with Rarity is that she brings the beauty out of everything, even when others don’t see it, and that everything is custom-hoofed and have a bit of her in them, not just trying to see a quota.

I really think Sassy seems likes one of those MBA kids straight from college, and want to put their knowledge in a hands-on way. But it doesn’t work like that–there are problems, issues and other things out of the blue that no textbook or distertion will teach you. So it was excellent that Rarity did set her straight with her own experience (hell, she’s built Carousel Boutique practically from scratch, Sassy needs to tap her mind for tips).
