In an alternate universe where the now abandoned Canterlot High is the last safe haven in a town bursting with criminal activity, the former students created a new gang, the 3rd Street Saints. They are lead by Nolan North, the son of the biggest, baddest crime lord in town and their goal is to end the rival gangs and make their beloved hometown safe once again.  
But, as Friedrich Nietzsche once quoted, “he who fights monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster”.
 
The brains of the team, Twilight Sparkle’s task is to gather as much intel as possible regarding the Vice Kings, the Rollerz and Los Carnales. There’s no code she cannot crack and no firewall she cannot bypass, but if the information required is not stored in a computer she can always count on Applejack and Sunset Shimmer to beat the info out of a rival gang member. Despite being very antisocial and reclusive, Twilight maintains good relationships with the other members of the 3rd Street Saints, despite the constant need to correct them all the time, especially Applejack (“It’s not ‘the Los Carnales’, it’s just ‘the Carnales’. You see, ‘Los’ means– Oh, whatever!”). Twilight is not a fighter, but she keeps a NR4 pistol in her laptop bag at all times, just in case.
