You really have to get into the game in order to get all of the extra content. Being a criminal can be fun, but personally, I like to play my cards right early on and be able to travel to exotic locations later on using my vacation time. If you thought the graphics normally were amazing, the graphics here are absolutely breathtaking.

When sunset rolls around and you’re in the right place, the quality is near orgasmic.
 
And playing your cards right early on can even lead to doing some interesting sidequests and meeting very interesting and engaging characters.
 
Though I hate having to restart the entire game when my character dies…

And don’t get me started on these sidequests. Almost all of them were either pointless or not rewarding. The fighting mechanics were broken beyond repair, and most of the players needed buffs or nerfs badly. The customization was limited as you always started out with a predesigned character.

I tried real life once. The graphics were quite good, but the NPCs were often way way too stupid. They got themselves killed in the most ridiculous ways. And the background music was quite annoying, some crappy pop songs. And there was no save game feature. Some other players said they had this thing called “religion” that offered saving… but when I checked it out, you had only one save game slot. Plus the entire thing seemed quite hokey, so I passed. There was no plot outside of the “born, to to school, marry, work your ass off, then die” so it was quite boring. Once again the actual gameplay and plot was sacrificed on the altar of graphics quality. I do not recommend.
