We have only one canon example of changeling feeding and it is directly sucking the love out of a creature in a visible form of energy. Anything else is pure speculation. Doesn’t make this image any less hot though.

A lot of these things show changelings sucking the love out of people. But canonically can changelings feed either by passively asborbing the Love already in the surrounding environment like a plant as well as suck the love out of people, our just the former?
