You’re probably right in your first paragraph; I have nothing to disagree with.
Not sure about the second paragraph. Maybe it’s best to not reflect over the scars unless Scootaloo would be sad over them. … I don’t know, it’s hard to be positive about something whilst not encouraging it.
When absorbing an impact that is not sudden, the body naturally contorts in order to protect its most vital organs; it curls in a fetal position, protecting the midriff.
So she’s got the right idea with what she has; if she braces for impact, she’ll have her arma and shoulders to hold her upper body up, and her knees to hold her lower body up. That said… if she DID get scarred anywhere, Rainbow Dash would probably tell her how awesome it looks… before promptly saying she’s NOT telling her to get herself more scars, of course.
I didn’t say she needs protection; but an exposed midriff might take more damage than one with a shirt? Dunno… maybe it’s insignificant.
Well there’s protection, then there’s just overprotection; no need for belly-guards, shoulder-pads, butt-protectors… wing-wraps?
And that’s why she exposes a lot of her belly ;)
Will, sure, a shirt wouldn’t protect as much as the pads, but at least it would do something.
