Confirming this is still an issue.

In comment lists (either personal or general), when an embedded image is wrapped in a link (like when someone uses the “Embed this image” button), retrieving it causes an improper content replacement, and the rest of the comment is lost.

I’m having the same issue right now.

It’s not actually a “bug”– it’s obviously just a hiccup with how Firefox is deciding to display the information Derpiboor is giving it– but sometimes when I open an image from a thumbnail as a new tab in Android Firefox and close it with the phone’s ↩ button, when the open tab reverts back to the main /images/ page, the thumbnails are stacked in two columns instead of three. Do y’all have any idea how I could force Firefox to display it like that by default? It’s a lot more convenient, since it lets me see much bigger thumbnails without having to move the screen around and risk guarantee accidentally tapping on a link the way it would if I just zoomed the screen in on a three column layout.

It seems that, when someone’s responded to someone else’s comment, I can no longer click on the link that shows which comment they replied to. I like seeing what people have responded to (especially if it’s a response to something from months ago that is only just now getting a response)…

Also, not totally sure if this is a bug related to the site or not, but I’ve still got AdBlock Plus enabled for this site, and yet I still get a couple of the ads… Wasn’t sure where else to bring this up.

Derpibooru shows no ads, except for the internal ones, which AdBlock shouldn’t block.  
If you still see that AdBlock is blocking ads, that’s maybe because of some extensions that inject unwanted content in your pages.

Yeah, this. You probably have adware/spyware on your PC. Try Malwarebytes and Spybot to get rid of ’em.

Actually, it turns out there’s no problem at all. I just checked, and it said it isn’t blocking any items on any of the pages here. I just didn’t know that stuff about the internal ads.

Why does gif images keep showing options for video (after I right click)… I cant download gif, only f*ckin mp4, and that sucks… how do I get rid off that?
 
(sometimes I can download gif via source, but sometimes there is no source…; does in FF, and in Chrome aswell)

We play a mp4 because it’s much better for bandwidth and client performance. If you want to download the gif, you might want to consider clicking the big “Download” button at the top, or the “View” one if you want to open it in a new tab first.

It opens the MP4 as a GIF in a new browser tab and you can right click it from there.

To be fair, those links don’t stand out much.  
It’s easy for unexperienced users to forget about them.
 
I wonder if moving them below the image could help. That would also simplify a crowded toolbar.

rightclicking a gif to DL was still more efficient imo, I could quickly rename and choose destination at the same time..

The two seconds of convenience this is costing you is saving us about half the bandwidth per gif, and saving 90% of users that bandwidth plus browser rendering. Soz.

Spoiler warnings (questionable, explicit, etc) aren’t showing up.

For some reason I’m unable to sign out. Even when it says my session has expired, I’m still logged in.  
Currently using Firefox 34.0.5

spoiler thumbails got broken, they all are now the default celestia one.

Same here.

The spoiler issue is known and in work.

I can’t open certain pics (e.g. >>772693 (deleted)), because they are webp images, but site treats them as jpg and gives them a .jpg extension. Firefox tries to load them as jpgs and fails. But if I curl them and change the extensions, they are normal images and can be opened.

The site doesn’t permit WebP uploads and we do not have any plans at present to support WebP, though it’s not off the cards. People should not upload WebP with the wrong filename. This isn’t a site bug. Please report these images so we can deal with them.
