I can add tags to preexisting images, but when I try to upload an image it says “taggings [sic] is invalid”.

breaks the site in a way that blocks 98.14% of all uploads when it shouldn’t.
 
Combined with my 133 individual keywords and 1 spoiler, this brings down 1 332 655 uploads to 24 755. That’s 1.86% remaining.

Well, you only added one thing to it, let’s look at that.
 
-black vine AND -sex
 
What is this blocking? A great way to find out is by adding it to a search and turning your filter to everything.
 
This matches 1.8m images. You are asking the site to filter out all images that don’t have either sex or black vines, which is ~89k images (it’s mostly the sex tag that’s tripping you up there).

I would strongly suggest breaking that down into separate lines/queries, because I see that my eyes blur out (new lines count as separate queries).

It is blocking everything hasn’t got either tag. (blacklisting logic is flipped, rememeber)

This image >>2107732 cannot be tagged with “princess skystar”. The tag just wont save. Probably related to this, because I was trying to tag it with “princess skystar”.

Implications work, aliases don’t, I was able to add her tag via shipping tags, but not via “skystar”, so the process in between is broken. Looks like the tag’s busted. We’ll possibly (About 7-79% likely) have to use a different tag like we did with artist:mustlovefrogs some time ago.

Weird, lots of un-addable tags lately.

I might have figured out what’s up with faves not being in alphabetical order. I did some experimenting, and they display the order in which people faved an image: the first faver is first, and so on. I looked into the changelog, and it mentions something about clean user_interactions references. Looking at the faves box, I think that might be where the issue is, since it references interaction-user-list-item for individual names.
 
Obviously this is a nonissue, just thought it might help the devs if they think it’s worth “fixing.”
 
Edit: Oh! The change normalize image tags might have something to do with the issues people have had lately with tagging images.

Yes, I realize some fonts display them the same way, much like how Р and P or Ӏ and I do, but are very different characters.

Many US keyboards do not make the distinction, or at least not clearly. I’ve got ` and ’ and could not tell you which is which. It might be a good idea to alias the single-quote version to make things more user friendly.

…then at least the more popular ones. I’m sure there’s other ways to do it, such as perhaps making the site recognize them as the same input, but that’s probably the best place to start. At least all the episode titles, since that seems to be an issue.

“skellinore” is another broken tag. I can’t find anything that implies it, so I can’t add it indirectly.
