I love it. People may thing Andrea is joking like Tara Strong and Cathy, but from McCarthy’s and Dubuc’s expression it sound more like a tease of the episode to come. I will pay special attention to all episodes with Fluttershy this season or the specials.

It may be, it may not be. Also keep in mind that just because a voice actor ships it, doesn’t mean it’ll happen in canon. For example, Dante Basco shipped Zuko with Katara but ultimately Zuko/Mai and Katara/Aang ended up being the endgame ships for Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Im reminded of the Overwatch fandom and Hanzo/McCree.
 
McCree’s voice actor said that he supports the ship and he said that he has adopted the Headcanon of them being gay lovers together and said that he ships it too and said that he would like it to be canon as well.
 
He also keeps teasing a bunch of shipping fuel between the two fo them X)  
He said that his personal headcnaon is that both of them live in a apartment in Hollywood and their apartment looks like a mess because they keep arguing on if it should have a Japanese or Wild West look too it and it ended up looking like an awkward mish-mash of both looks X)

Too obvious vs official. Look, I’m not against LyraBon and I agree that based on all the fuel they get, they must be a couple. It only needs a technicality to confirm it, but to call something is canon or official that technicality is important.
 
I think that after Rollercoaster of Friendship Rarity and AJ got to the same level of teasing, it’s too obvious and yet it’s not canon because no character confirmed them being a couple.

It’s alright. To add what you’re saying, I think another important factor is Lyra and Bonbon are minor background characters while Rarity and AJ are main characters. Shipping hints between them are obviously going to be played out, handled, and interpreted differently because of that.

I don’t understand why people choose to ignore the context of this teasing. It’s not “Andrea Libman think that they should get together” just like De Lancie and Nicole Oliver did with Dislestia. It’s Andrea Libman who never shipped anything, suddenly without any “maybe” act as a characters and speak her voice in order to state some facts about the character. You don’t have to believe that it will happen, but it’s my opinions that Fluttershy will have a speaking role related to Discord and romance.

I don’t like Discord which is why I don’t ship him with characters I like, such as Fluttershy and Celestia. I’m not denying that there is potential for a relationship. I simply do not want it because Discord.
