It’d be great if G5 was a continuation of the future timeline from The Last Problem but that’s incredibly unlikely.

Yes exactly! The same basic characters and setting coming back again, tweaked here and there but at its core, the same thing more or less. Hasbro has form for that, and I can’t see them messing around with the winning formula of pony too much.

My problem with AppleDash being canon is that Rarijack is canon in EqG. I tend to assume that in a universe like MLP, relationships are determined by “destiny” or whatever, so you’d think the two universes would have the same ship. Does this mean that in the EqG world, Rarity and AJ are just dating for now, but will eventually split up and AJ will get with RD instead?!!?!??!!?! That’s so sad!!!!!!!!
 
RD and AJ are both what I’d call self-sufficient characters. Both of them could be in a relationship, but they’d be able to do just fine if they never met a special somepony. On the other hand, I consider Rarity to be more needy and craving somepony to spend their life with her. Her being along would be so sad!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It is a bit odd, but I guess contact between the worlds has thrown off their symmetry. Give it a century or too and the populaces may be mostly divergent.
 
I prefer Twijack to either of those, anyway. And who says Rarity’s single?

If Rarity is married, we should’ve seen who her special somepony is. Instead it ruled out her two best partners, Spike and AJ, by having AJ married to RD and Spike clearly not living with her and possibly with Gabby. Those two were the only characters I wanted Rarity to be with, but now she’s alone forever!!!!! I guess I’d better find a way to get into the MLP universe and marrying her myself, so she doesn’t have to feel alone!!!!! I LOVE YOU, RARITY!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Yes, because there are only two possible partners for her in all of Equestria. (Also, she and AJ would have been terrible together.) They obviously didn’t have any immediate partner in mind, but that doesn’t mean she’s single - and even if she is, what’s wrong with that?

Rarity and Applejack would’ve been such a happy couple!!! Also, my guess is that maybe Applejack and Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be and here’s my NSFW reason why: RD and AJ would probably be competitive even when having sex. They wouldn’t be able to appreciate what the other is doing for them, because they’d only be focused on trying to top it. I’m sure it’d be hot for Spike or Rarity to secretly peak at from their window, but it wouldn’t be very loving.
 
Anyway, I just feel so sorry for her because nopony else besides those two is right for her!!!!! Maybe Capper could be if he’s managed to change his attitude since we last saw him. It was hinted he would, but we haven’t seen what he’s like now.

I don’t know about Appledash (as I’ve said before, I prefer Twijack) but I really don’t think Applejack and rarity would likely be happy together - they’re opposite in many ways that would create tension, which is why they often get plots together. And I really don’t think Rarity’s options are so limited.

Rarity said she came from Yak Yakistan, do you guys think she lives there now or was just visiting a fashion shop that Yona opened there? I hope she didn’t marry a disgusting Yak!!! 🤢
