I think a lot of my recent obsession is because I’m frequently bringing up her lack of popularity, which reinforces the obsession.
 
Also, great, just great. Now I feel like writing a fic starring Spur, Babs Seed and Puppysmiles all together in some fashion. How would that even work? I’ll also probably throw in… Have I obsessed over anypony else? Threnody? (With apologies to Heartshine) Okay, how would that work?

Well the first thing to decide is whether to have Babs and Spur in the Wasteland (as ghouls, perhaps) or Puppy in modern Equestria.

Given I headcanon >>2172192 as a cross-dimensional timing match (Meaning while Luster Dawn was going off with her new friends for the first time in front of Twilight in the canon timeline the first balefire bomb was descending in the Fo:E timeline, at exactly the same time) it could go either way but probably the latter. (How long after the book closes did Puppy die? I’d guess the amount of time between the first and last instances of “Bloofy” in GUIHTD)
 
Incidentally, I already have Babs in Subterranean Pacifism as a ghoul with trans-dimensional cutting powers, so I’ll have to see if I can squeeze Spur in there, alongside Kettle Corn (who’s been turned into whatever Puppy is with Skeedaddle as her suit’s AI) (Also, Puppy gets indirectly mentioned as a means of indicating chronology but that may change)

I think a lot of the reason I seem obsessive is because I’m touchy about the episode being forgotten, as well. The DA description in >>2174159 doesn’t mention GUIHTD at all, and AFAIK it’s the only FimFic news post that has less than 20 comments (If there are others please correct me) and I feel a little pertubed that this is the one episode of the series that seems to be forgotten or treated as though it doesn’t exist.

It was packed together with 4 much more consquential epsiodes. I’m sure there was discussion in the week after it’s officlia airing.

There was IIRC. But it died out in about 69 hours.

There’s just not a lot to say about it. The story is pretty straightforward, and the episode is mostly just an easter egg hunt.
