SVGs that aren't SVGs

Poking around images tagged svg, and I found a lot under the following search: -original_format:svg, svg
 
Could a staff member possibly remove all these svg tags please?

Are there any situations where image can be a .svg with original_format not being svg?

Some of them appear to be due to the artist mentions “svg at X” in the source description, and for whatever reason the DA png was uploaded instead of SVG to derpi. For other times it appears to be due to dead source, or was an edit of a SVG.
 
If anyone wants to volunteer, please report images with SVGs available, but are PNGs on Derpi to this thread. At the very least, I can report the ones you linked to said thread.

There’s already a tag for .svg available

A number of them have dead links, hence was hoping they’d replaced the images uploaded already to prevent them all from being inaccessible.
 
Edit: I reported all the ones that had valid svg tags to the thread, and removed the ones that were edits, or had dead source.
