Of course. What’s your point?
How so? Do you think the average is amending fences?
The goods of the episode definitely out-weighed the bad. My only complaint is that the story structure felt kind of mixed up at points. All in all it was just meant to be a fun Discord episode. I would call it Three’s a Crowd done right.
That’s what most of us have been saying in this thread, I still don’t think princess spike was very good though outside of the side characters.

@Pagan
So…whatever was the problem? Why worried? or why did a few people think it was going to be bad? Cause of Princess Spike? Honestly I enjoyed that episode, personally. I just don’t see how it’s fair to judge something due to a past ‘not-so-great’ episode
Yeah it was decent I have no problem rewatching it and I got some laughs he did a good job.
Also remember a canterlot wedding she was distrustful in that one as well.
They did nothing because nobody came to them. Nobody came to them because Spike interfered with communication. It was bad enough that he wasn’t passing messages on to people qualified to handle them–something he is wonderfully qualified to do. He made it worse by pretending he was acting on his supervisor’s authority.
Seriously, this is a critical lesson. People get reprimanded for this sort of thing all the time in the workplace.
Oh ok so they were there that’s good to know they were there and chose to do nothing that makes this episode even worse thanks for that.
They took Spike at his word about what Twilight said because he was her assistant. He is expected to be trustworthy to perform that duty.
You keep insisting Cadance and the other princesses weren’t there. Again, this isn’t a game of peek-a-boo. People don’t disappear just because they leave a room. There is no reason to believe that Cadance’s residence was any more difficult to find than Twilight’s would be. Luna and Celestia probably have the best known address in Equestria.
We have no reason to assume all of them were too busy be available for questions. Since we saw Cadance had time to check in on Spike more than once, we have cause to believe the opposite was true for at least one princess. All we can say for certain is that Spike did not even make one attempt to redirect visitors to any other princess. Not one. None. Never did. I’m sorry to go on like this, but it’s the key issue at hand and you keep ignoring it.
Spike had no business making the decisions he did. He had no business pretending they were Twilight’s decisions. For crying out loud, he has Celestia and Luna on speed dial. There was no excuse for what he did.
Then why didn’t they go to them hmmm why did they take spikes advice rather then go to cadence because she was not there none of them were and if you try to say they were busy clearly they weren’t since spike was handling them.
I’m starting to think you either didn’t watch the episode or you’re just really biased and won’t admit to any flaws with the episode either way this is getting boring and I have other things to do.
This isn’t peek-a-boo with an infant. You know the princesses were in town. You saw Cadance check in on Spike twice. There was no excuse for Spike to pretend that he had to make any decisions. That was irresponsible.
If Spike had told the first two delegates, “She said to check with Princess Cadance,” they’d have done that. Would you like to argue that said another princess visiting Canterlot would be harder to track down than this one? She doesn’t stop being there just because we can’t see her right this moment.
As for this issue of a backup plan, there was no need. Twilight was the main organizer, but she was clearly not the only presiding authority. What made it impossible for Spike to say: “Twilight isn’t available right now. Have you checked with Cadance?”
In the few cases that answer would not suffice, Spike just has to repeat it. And repeat it again until the petitioner accepted the fact.
Dragons don’t appear to like dragon sneeze tree pollen and might prefer to avoid anywhere they’re planted. Are these grown to produce a dragon repellent by the mountain dwelling population of Canterlot? We don’t know. Were they being trimmed to keep pollen levels down? We don’t know. It’s easy for us to assume that something we don’t understand serves no purpose when that purposely isn’t explained.
Easy, but not necessarily right.
I was talking about the idiot ponies who kept needing advice and no the princesses as we saw left we didn’t see them till the end of the episode they weren’t around to help Twilight was asleep and didn’t make a backup plan to have someone watch over the delegates and help and cadence just showed up said some pointless shit and left she never once made an attempt to help so yes spike was forced to help.
And I’m sorry DRAGON SNEEZE TREES? Seriously? Who the hell would grow shit like that in the middle of their city do they want to die?
That wouldn’t have been an excuse even if it was true. Spike even used someone else’s authority to override people who knew they were doing necessary work. When Twilight woke up, she even asked about the water main. That means Spike’s attempts to help interfered with tasks she’d considered relevant to her assignment, and possibly overrode instructions she’d given earlier.
People keep assuming that no one else was available. There were three other princesses on duty in Canterlot, at least one of whom had time enough to check in on Spike twice. Spike never suggested that anyone talk to one of them.
I’m talking about rewiring the house, TexasUberAlles. I still commend those who taught you skills the average fifth grader should not be attempting without proper training and supervision.
Were you not able to replace electrical outlets and install light fixtures in fifth grade?
Ah but there was no one else TO take up the tasks no one but spike was available and the others were too inept to make simple decisions so he had no choice.
Assuming authority and responsibility that are not yours is doing something wrong. It falls somewhere between a six-year-old “borrowing” a credit card to buy groceries online and a ten-year-old working on the home’s wiring.
The “abuses” that he made in her name did nothing. Both ethically in terms of whether or not they mattered, and to the actual story.
They shouldnt have revealed the writers so that they let you guys make huge asses of yourself
You mean the 1 to 2 people in this thread who think it might not be very good but the rest of us all said from the beginning to give it a chance and watch the episode first before judging it.
I think fedora might be a little too tight.
Learn to read,he responded to this part of my comment :“They shouldnt have revealed the writers so that they let you guys make huge asses of yourself”
See@Pagan
And “minority” or not,it was still vocal and ridiculous
