Yeah, his jaw should clench as he lowers his head at the same time. You got it right at the last few frames, but the 1st few feel really awkward.
You could also make the 1st action more subtle, as it feels like it takes forever to get done, which gives a nasty stiff feeling when compared to the more fluid second action. Speeding it up may help.
