Not exactly. MLP’s animation/art style is among the last of its kind, as far as I can see. Nowadays it looks like an awful lot of post-2013 cartoons look like Steven Universe, copycatting Adventure Time techniques-wise. Also, dat SJW influence.
I just wish their fandom weren’t so perfectly chill and agreeable. I wish they were as pissy and reactive as bronies, so people would actually have a reason to hate them.
There’s a word for crazies like you. This is the same sentiment people had when Babylon 5 rolled around and people were worried it would bury Star Trek and look what happened there.
There is the issue though that I don’t like SU and fear it will kill MLP. I just wish SU’s fanbase was as obnoxious as bronies so people would have a reason to hate and ostracize people for liking Steven Universe.
