That’s Goldie O’Gilt, introduced as Scrooge McDuck’s old flame in Carl Barks’s comic story “Back to the Klondike” and further developed in a trio of stories by Don Rosa decades later. It’s probably for the best you missed the Ducktales adaptation of the story; while I generally liked the series when it was using original plots, its comic adaptations pretty much always fell short of the original stories, none more so than “Back to the Klondike”.
What am I missing here?
