By Equestrian time, it should be about 8 - 10 months now since she learned magic during Twilight Time, so it’s already a while.  
But it’s still amazing to see how far she has come. It’s always so great to see her making progress in the use of magic; it was in “Appleloosa’s Most Wanted” and in “Crusaders of the Lost Mark” and it still is. :)  
I admit, what you said here didn’t come to my mind so far. I don’t know if it is because I’m already used to it that she can use magic and that I just expect her to be able to do such things by now, or because the rest of the episode distracted me with that shocking development.  
Either way, I should pay more attention to her little steps forward again now. Can’t have it that I miss out seeing my little unicorn grow in her skills. <3

I loved this scene to bits. There was a time not too long ago when she couldn’t even lift that baton. Now she can not only lift it and wave it around like it’s nothing, but she can apply opposing forces to it simultaneously.
