and paratha
can come stuffed, and with this amount of detail I don’t really think it would be possible to distinguish between naan and paratha.
Brit here with an interest in fragrant, spicy food for own kitchen reasons. Indian-style restaurants in the UK most often serve a sort of evolving fusion cuisine. Tasty and popular, but definitely a distinct offshoot.

If you liked the gajar halwa then you have to try the rava kesari, it’s a semolina cake desert, it’s delicious !
Those sound good, though regular naan is pretty great as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve only eaten in one Indian restaurant, and it was in California. By far one of my favorite things there was the gajar halwa. I actually started looking up various recipes on a YouTube channel called Vahchef afterward, though I haven’t actually tried any of them.
Actually naans can be filled with cheese, garlic or meat !
