Retconned the WHOLE concept of “forced marriage” in their story
Instead, they have their good days, although mixed with clash and conflicts.
It’s after their second child (who is cuttenly inside Rares) is born that they come to a ladder and end in the salt and acid pool we see here
Also, that one smol filly in Spike’s back is their first kid Pink Quartz, nicknamed Vanilla!
