Good god, is this picture where we throw all the nostalgia shows or something? Maybe we should throw in Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors for good measure…
It was. But instead of modern teens with attitude supposedly saving the world like the Rangers, or whatever excuse they needed for Big Bad Beetle Borgs (another cool show if I remember correctly), this one was smaller in scale, and felt more… real in a way. The characters weren’t teens but young adults, and they weren’t saving the world, just protecting their kingdom from an enemy said kingdom was actually at war with (first scene from that VHS of the show is actually a large scale ambush against the Queen’s army).
wasn’t the show it self a PR copycat?
That show was the shit when TV was drowning in Power Ranger copy cats.
