I approve of this cross-gen meetup.
After Megan the human, default leader of the Dream Valley canon pony herd (when she’s around),
Mr. Moochick is probably the 2nd most important non-pony character from those stories.

He had the role of ‘Quest Helper’, like Celestia often does,
but he lives apart from the ponies, deep in the woods, like Zecora
(although he is even further hidden by a giant mushroom grove),
and his personality and powers are like a much friendlier and more absent-minded Discord.
