Lol, no. I’m just having a little fun. Twi’s a fictional character. What you’re doing is like telling someone playing DnD that DnD isn’t real. Of course I don’t actually think Twi can somehow read that comment. It’s just a wee bit insulting you’d compare me to someone who actually thinks the spirit of a fictional character lives in their stuffed animal, though… :p
 
I often wonder about someone out there in real life, maybe at my university, with those traits I like, though. Intellectual, values reasoning and rationality, kind, nurturing, patient, adorkable and cute… and wonder if they’re looking forward to meeting someone like me as much as I’m looking forward to meeting someone like them.
 
And that’s kind of exactly what’s happening in this comic.
 
But no way to really find out except to keep looking and dating, yeah.

That and I’m fairly certain only a certain fraction of the users here post comments on images, the majority simply favourite or cast votes on images. The same is likely also true of other, larger social sites. :j

That isn’t true. Posts from the creator after the release of the military plot said the majority was received positively, though they still didn’t make it canon. Don’t quote me, but it was some 90% positive. Only a few people vocally oppose it loudly here on Derpibooru, but they are the minority in this case.

People are referring to the comics with Greg, and disliking Greg for no real reason. They may also be referring to the episodes that were not canon when Twi had Equestria’s government collapse and let a military general take control. Look up, “OC:Griggs” and you will find the episodes. They were not canon though.
