I always had this headcanon that the 1st pony-doctor is somehow Dinky’s real dad and everypony just mistakes Pokey for him, or some similar timey wimey mess-up.
 
And I ship Mayor+Turner on the side too, so companion Pink Mane is <3

Well the doctor often leaves his companions alone for a long amount of time, even if he ever comes back to see them, like what’s her name who got a spinoff. So therefore, if the right one was from the future then she’d probably be naturally grey or something by then.

I’m pretty sure that the Mare on the right is the older one. She’s matured enough that she no longer feels the need to make herself look older.
